EARTH DAY
Our mother earth is what we all have in common. To enhance the feeling of saving our earth from pollution and jointly bringing awareness to save our planet, earth day was celebrated. Everyone promised to give their contribution to the maximum.
The students learnt how to plan out a garden as per the space available designing of the flower beds and selecting the plants according to the soil and climate conditions. They experienced the water requirement of various plants and took pride in the efforts they put forth to see the garden growing and their hard work being fruitful.
Little drops of water, little grains of sand makes mighty ocean and the pleasant land.
School Level Painting Competition, organized by Ministry of water Resources created awareness amongst our students to conserve the precious water resources. The students participated with great zeal in the event.
SWACCH BHARAT MISSION-Cleanliness is next to godliness.Swacch Bharat Abhiyan is a cleanliness campaign run by the government of India and initiated by the Honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. It is very important for our kids to learn the importance of cleanliness and practise the same in their day to day life.
BASANTPANCHAMI-Saraswati Pooja was celebrated on basant Panchami, MaaSaraswati, the diety of learning wisdom, knowledge, fine arts, refinement science and technology was worshipped to attain enlightenment through knowledge and to get rid of ignorance. Students and Teachers offered their gratitude to the goddess of knowledge and wished for her blessings to do well in studies.
REPUBLIC DAY –Republic day was celebrated in the institution with great zeal and zest. The whole school assembled in spite of biting cold to show respect and love for their country. The principal in her speech appreciated the efforts of great leaders so that we are having a better place to live in. She reminded the students, the future citizens, to maintain the dignity of freedom of the country.
TEACHER’S DAYThe school celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm. The principal lighted the lamp of knowledge and paid floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. S Radhakrishnan whose birth anniversary marks the occasion. The head boy, in his speech paid his tribute to the teachers for ennobling the life of the young generation , other house heads also addressed audience.
INDEPENDENCE DAY-The school celebrated Independence Day with great gusto. The principal unfurled the flag, in her speech she spoke about the progress of India that lies in the hands of the young brigade. She also laid stress on the importance of National Flag and it must be treated with great respect and not thrown about carelessly once the celebrations are over.
